Understanding the Evolution of Sociality
We are a group of primate behavioral ecologists doing research to understand group formation, the underlying causes of social organization, social and ecological constraints, and individual and group decision-making. Most of our projects are on vervet monkeys (Cholorcebus pygerythrus) and Rwenzori Angolan colobus (Colobus angolensis ruwenzorii) at Lake Nabugabo, Uganda but other study systems are also utilized depending on our research questions.
